From Blue to RED!

Superhero 2 had his Taekwondo grading this morning. And he passed! He did good, bravo! And now he has graduated from blue to red =) Two more steps and he will get the coveted BLACK. InsyaAllah, Amin.

It was so funny coz in keeping up with the Halloween 'feel', I insisted on only lighting up the wall lights. My sons were asking me, "Mommy, why are we eating in the dark?". Hahaha.

I Love Saturday Mornings

I love my Saturday mornings. It is my routine every Saturday to send Superhero 2 for his Taekwondo training. It takes place at a kindy in a neighbourhood where we used to live. After sending him off, I have a whole hour to myself to do as I wish. I will usually go to the small friendly neighbourhood cafe in the same vicinity. I like it there, it's cozy and quiet. I will have my breakfast there, and indulge in quiet reading or browsing the net.

 Coffee & Netbook =)

 Some days if I am feeling naughty, I will order a HUGE brekkie. Like the Bavarian Brekkie pictured above. Hmmnnnnnnn, so comforting ;P

After an hour or so, I will pick-up my son from his training and we would be off to Coffee Bean as this is when my son demands his breakfast pulak. Masa ni, I minum air aje lah, sebab dah kenyang kan.

 Happy sangat cos perut yang lapar and badan yang letih dapat makan and minum and rehat lepas training.

Lepas tu apa lagi, Mommy menapak ke MPH.

Our Halloween Fun: The Deco

Oh oh oh, did you have a fun Halloween? We sure did! Some of my friends watched spooky movies on telly, I mean last weekend there were many horror stories being played kan? Even the cartoon channels were showing Halloween series. Tee hee. My sis went to Bangsar Shopping Centre or was it Bangsar Village and she was saying that most of the shops gave out candies and choccies to visitors, even Patchi! Restaurants held Halloween themed dinners juga, like TGI and even Krispy Kreme offered their fabulous Krispy Skremes! 

Me and my superheroes made Halloween crafts and then I decided why not a party too, to go with the decor? Any excuse for a party really, hehehe. It was good fun preparing stuff, kids really took time off TV and vid games and concentrated on making bats and ghostie and witchy and a poster too. We went to SP and got some fun hats and a pumpkin bucket and soft toys. And of course, Halloween treats! Chocs and candies!

 I saw a carved pumpkin selling at RM99 @ Cold Storage MidValley! Woohoo! So expensive but well, the pumpkin had to be specially imported. Our local labu kecik and not orange kan? Well, those are our pumpkins kat atas tuh!

We got Crazy Bones lollipops too, and BOO choccies, and Scary peanut butter cups =)

 What the kids came up with, with a little help from Mommy ;-)

Halloween Crafts

Hallo People! Are you in or out this Saturday night? I am currently in, just came back from a series of events today. Will blog about it later. Tomorrow is Halloween. Ok ok, before some of you raise your eyebrows or tut tut your disapproval, let me tell you that it is just a bit of fun. Wearing a witch hat, wearing a costume, and filling a pumpkin bucket with Halloween candies and choccies does not make one forget about one's religion or aspire to be a 'Mat or Minah Salleh'.

Sometimes I am confused, because the same people who make so much noise about these things are the ones who goes seeking divine 'help' from local shaman or spiritual healer. I mean, make up your mind already!

Anyway, my kids and I are working on some Halloween crafts. I came across these pics on Google. They look fairly easy to make and definitely doable.

What Are Your Plans For Today?

Itu iPhone 4 ada ka?

Tadi around 12-ish, Mr Ako came home. Dia cakap jom sama-sama hantar Superhero 2 ke sekolah, sebab selepas itu nak ke Gardens. Saya tanya kenapa. Dia kata nak ke Maxis Centre. Saya hairan kenapa pulak sampai nak ke Gardens kalau nak bayar bill? Dia kata saja je. I pun malas nak tanya lebih dah orang ajak ke Gardens tu ikut sajalah kan =)

Sampai ke Maxis Center baru dia bagitau yang sebenarnya dia nak belikan wife dia ni iPhone 4. And he has been told that kalau pergi yang kat Gardens InsyaAllah ada stock. Tapiiiiiii..... setelah menunggu nombor kami dipanggil, we found out that stock dah habis! Baru aje the mamat before us tu dapat the last remaining one. Adoiiiiii laaaaa. Jadiknya, kena tunggu stock baru sampai lorhhhhhh.

Hehe, cute je Mr Ako nak surprise kan moi. Alih-alih barangnya tak ada la pulak =)
