I'm so touched!

It's my birthday and my sis made me a Nutella Mudcake, all by herself! She ventured into the kitchen and made it from scratch just for me! She must love me muahaha!

Here's my special Nutella Mudcake! Made by someone who's 'allergic' to the kitchen! :-)

Thank you dearest sister, me love you mucho!

Otai mesti pergi sini

The Otais of Subang Parade mesti akan tetap hangout at.....

Dave's Deli! Betul tak? Dah lama dah this deli. Dan I adalah antara orang yang setia berkunjung. Moreover, now my boys pulak suka kat sini. Menurun dari Mommy lah ni ya?

Ada satu ketika, this place dah macam hidup segan, mati tak mahu. But, they managed to overcome whatever problems they had and the place became lively again.

The food are simple but wholesome and filling... Real comfort food.

The boys enjoying their lasagne

And me, my footlong sausage. Yeah baby :-p

3 cheers for Dave's Deli!!! Hip hip Hurray 3x

Aroma Ikan Bakar, Pantai Jeram

Last Saturday, we went to Jeram as my other half was craving for fresh seafood. Hailing from the charming town of Dungun, he is used to having fresh seafood at his disposal when growing up. Somehow, the seafood from Giant or Tesco appalled him to no end. So we made our way at half past five from our house. Not 45 minutes later, we arrived at Aroma Ikan Bakar. Dekat saja kan?

First thing, choose a table and then you can choose your seafood and how you want it done. Bakar, Stim, Masak Cili, Tiga Rasa, Goreng Mentega, Harlock etc. While waiting for these to be done, do also place order for drinks, rice, soup or vegetables. Then enjoy the scenery while waiting...

Soon the food will arrive, and you will stop enjoying the scenery to concentrate on the food.

Fresh!

Fresh!

Fresh!

Fresh!

Fresh!
After eating your heart out, enjoy the scenery just a little while more.

Then, don't forget to pay your bill at the counter.

All that glorious seafood at such a reasonable price. Alhamdulillah...

Do try it out peepos. There's a musolla and quite err reasonably clean toilets too. We will definitely visit again soon :-) Aroma Ikan Bakar is on Facebook. Here.

Ole to US!

Sambungan dari ceritera yang lepas. Dah tentu duduk kat Serai tu dari pukul 12 tgh.... sampai 3.30 ptg tak gerak lagi... Apa cerita tu?
Time for tea! I mean, 2nd round punya tea ;-)

Suasana romantik menyemarakkan lagi kasih-sayang kami. Hahaha!

We only had hot drinks and shared a dessert plate as we were still feeling kenyang from the Serai experience.

Me and Shah had this Lemon Tea with Apricot

Lilly, Yong and Intan had this Lemongrass Ginger drink.

We shared this Pisang Bakar dessert amongst the five of us. But the best part was the continuous chatter and banter we shared, which could only be felt by old friends who shared six whole years as coursemates once upon a time. Priceless, I tell you.....

Serai with Lovelies

Kalau cuti sekolah saja pasti ada gathering dengan rakan-rakan Lovelies. This time around we had our catch-up session at Serai and Ole-ole Bali, Empire Shopping Gallery Subang.

While waiting for them, I had a cappuccino...

And then Shah (brown tudung) and Yong sampai. Kami pun menilik- nilik menu, apa mau makan? Oh yes, my friend Shah is a lady who loves whipping up yummies from her superb kitchen. You can get many tried and tested super recipes from her blog www.cikyahcooking.com

Then, Lilly (red tudung) and Intan arrived. What did we order that day? Nasi Kerabu for Shah, Yong and Lilly. Serai Platter for Intan. And

The Middle Eastern Medley for moi.. And I had the

intensely refreshing Serai Iced Tea! Sedapnya! And what's a girlie gathering without sinful desserts to sweeten the occasion?

Super orgasmic Pavlova! *drool*

Super happy Lovelies who chatted non-stop from 12 noon to 6.30 pm! Haha!

I went for the scones

The wife had mengada-ngada cravings for scones last Monday evening. It was already late in the evening nearing 6 o'clock when Mr Ako brought his clan to SACC mall to satisfy his mengada-ngada wife's request for a couple of scones. Needless to say, she was too lazy to make them herself heehee.

And so they went to The Teapot Deli.

Where she had scones AND mini quiches.

The scones were light and airy inside, and biscuity outside, so she was quite happy to gobble them up with cream and strawberry preserve. The quiche? Er hmm, x sedap. Sorry....

No 2 and No 3 had lasagne, no surprise there as they were reading Garfield comic book before coming to SACC!

No 1 had the Fish & Chips.

Ultimate hero (Mr Ako ahemm) had the roast chicken. It was swimming in gravy, just the way many Malaysians like it :)

And the wee one... Minum Milo saja, tak mahu makan. *sigh*

Apa di Jendela?

Nak warning dulu, my entries memang banyak pasal makanan. Siapa yang diet dan puasa, I mintak ampun dulu ye. Ada anak lelaki empat orang, memang banyak aktiviti makan-makan. But as the saying goes, 'A family that eats together, stays together.' Ewah, nak justify pulak kan hahaha ;-)

Kami ke D'Jendela last Sunday.

Because my Mr AKO wants Nasi Dagang for breakfast, but the rest of us wanted Nasi Lemak. So kat D'Jendela ada both Dagang and Lemak.

I like the Ayam Goreng Berempah, as the jintan and ketumbar ada sebiji-sebiji atas ayam tu, so bila kunyah the spices' flavour burst through. Sedap!

Adam pretending to be scared of his Milo Dinosaur! Hehe!

This wee one only eats keropok! Semua keropok pinggan orang dia habiskan. Good boy Azan :)
